Hi! I am Adib
I enjoy discussions about Faith.
My main main main main (yes, notice the emphasis) idea I would like to discover within the Faith is how we can apply Economic Principles and Theories using Baha'i Teachings.

My wish is to bring about and establish, with assistance of the friends of the Faith, the foundation of Baha'i Economics :P

Yes, wild goal.

But I know Baha'u'llah made it a very essential need that we need to resolve the current economic problem through both spiritual and material needs.

I have to admit, Baha'u'llah is simply amazing!

May He Guide us in excelling in all the dreams we pursue for the betterment of the world.

Welcome to the Forum Shukran!

There's an essay on economics and Baha'i Faith at

The Bah' Faith and economics (http://bahai-library.com/articles/bahai.faith.economics.html)

Graduated income tax and profit sharing, reducing the extremes of wealth and poverty as well as having a common storehouse in a community seem to me to be mentioend in the Writings...

That's true Art :)
Baha'u'llah, Abdu'l Baha and the Guardian provided an insight on what needs to be completed by us Baha'is to improve the economy of our world :).
There are two books I have:
"Economics, Agriculture and Related Subjects" - The Research Department of the Universal House of Justice
"Economics of the Future" - Badi Shams

They are just compilation of all Economic concepts directly from the Teachings and Writings.

Hello Adib, welcome to the Baha'i Forums family.

You may notice, that on the left side column on the main forum page, there is a column for the various Baha'i Studies. There is an area dedicated just for Economics:

http://bahaiforums.com/economics/

Feel free to share your economic principles and theories using the Baha'i teachings. Our hope is that the Study Area can be a great place for others to share and learn about their areas of study within the Baha'i Faith.

Hey Adib,

I'm very interested in economics also. I'd be interested in hearing some of your ideas when you have some time. I originally studied philosophy as an undergrad but recently I've found that some of the economic assumptions come from philosophers.

Anyway, hope to hear from you.

Jafar
