Hello everyone. I just joined the Forum today. I hope to be a regular participant. Frankly, I'm a member of a few other forums, but there's so much contention out there I think it will be refreshing to be among like-minded people.

I've been a Baha'i for 42 years, having joined the Faith in '68 at the age of 20. I'm a draftsman for structural engineers (I have a home office here in the Northwest, but have worked for the same small office in California for 33 years). Among other interests, I like to draw and paint, and I'll post some of my work in the Culture & Arts section. My avatar is from a sketch I did of the Shrine of the Bab when I was on pilgimage in 1990. Here's a larger view.
