I had understood that there are Bahai Holy places in Iran. What are the names of some of the Holy places and what they are for and how dangerous would it be to go and see them.

The current situation is that the Holy Places have been destroyed.. so for instance the House of the Bab in Shiraz was levelled and is probably a street or parking lot for a nearby Mosque.. There was a House of Baha'u'llah's family in Mazandaran that was torn down..a grave of Quddus was destroyed.. Baha'i gravesites are destroyed and so on..

There is another question which has not been answered: about going to Iran... If i am not mistaken you need to consult with the World Center if you desire to visit Iran since there are very special considerations/instructions which must be followed by those considering visits to that blessed country.
