This was one of the first Ridvan I can recall that we observed all three Holy Days as a community and learned more about Ridvan..

The Persian translation is also available: see the index to the document archive

I would appreciate receiving other translations as they come out.

Ridvan Message 2013 Integrated Into A Book

If you would like to read an integration of the Ridvan 2013 message into a book of 550 pages and 230 thousand words, a book containing reflections and understandings regarding the Baha'i culture of learning and growth---what amounts to a paradigmatic shift, in the Baha’i community---go to this link: Reflections on a Culture of Learning and Growth: Community and Individual Paradigm Shifts

Dear friend I am sure that the message is out in Spanish on the net, as we have received it here in Chile.

Why doesn’t the UHJ upload all Ridvan messages on an official website? For example, the one of Baha’i Reference Library. Why do believers have to search for general documents of the Faith on private websites? Any ideas?

I think you could communicate your question to the World Center. They may have an answer, or take it as a suggestion. Sounds reasonable.

I think it has evolved historically through the role of the NSAs as intermediaries and as heads of the Bahai communities in their provinces: it might well be thought desirable to maintain that role by releasing plans and general messages through the NSAs.

Dear Sen McGlinn,
I like your explanation! In fact, it’s the only sound explanation I’ve heard and can think of. The history and the intermediary functions might play significant role here. Though I am not sure if that serves for the benefit of the community at present.

And there is one thing is still nagging me in it: why then UHJ explicitly restricts publishing its general communications including Ridvan messages on the Internet? So I think that such restrictions have some other reason than the desire to give more strength to NSAs. But what it might be I have no explanations.
