An ode to Steve

Been thinking about Steve and a few others that over the years have have extended conversations with

An ode to Steve

This is to a mate, who in person I have not yet met,
Instead we meet upon the cyber space of the internet.
A Christian man, strong in Faith, strong in Love,
Strong in Gods gifts sent down from the realms above.

A chance meeting at a site dedicated to the love of Christ,
did entice many a discussion on the purport and meaning of Life.
A proof given here, a rebuttal there, conversations abound
Going round and round, but never really getting off the ground!

Now this is not a go at my mate, a mate on the end of a stream
Of numbers, punched through keys, disassembled, dispatched,
Reassembled, then again to be read upon another screen!
It is a call to the blind; it is a call to those who have the vision,
a call to those lacking in wise decision, a call to hope, a call to all.

Who are we to play with God and His Word, Who are we to play with
God and His Messages, Who are we to play with God and His Laws,
Who are we to reject it all, with no thought of reprisal loss of reward?

The reward, written with the blood of the martyrs and the sacrifice
of the one Foretold. The Reward of Abraham, the Reward of Moses,
the Reward of Christ, the reward of Muhummad, the reward of the
Covenant, so clearly promised in all Gods books of Old.

The promise arises; the Gate is opened for the Glory of the Lord.
The Promise is fulfilled. The Glory of the Lord entered by the Gate.
Yet we tarry in our heedlessness, ignorant we still stand and wait.
Why do we wait? All was written upon the Gate, they who enter
and view the Glory of the Lord find they need no longer wait.

This is a call to the blind; it is a call to those who have the vision,
a call to those lacking in wise decision, a call to hope, a call to all.
Harken, Listen, knock at the Gate no more, it is your Decision!

Disclaimer - Though this was an ode to Steve, it was but a reflection on many conversations had over the years. That it addresses a name and a situation, in no way implies that "Steve" or anyone of us is more "enlightened" than another! We are all but insignificant in the path of God.

God bless all regards Tony

Tony, you are amazing, to say the least. I am speechless. To say I am humbled would be the understatement of understatements.

May the peace of the Lord be with you always, my friend.

God bless.

And with you dear Steve, may eternal happiness be yours.

May each day the sun rises while we live, be a light unto us to obtain great knowledge, a knowledge of what is our True Selves, What is the Source and how we are to Serve that Knowledge to Others.

We never stop learning while we live upon this earth. Our actions to Gods Word and Law being our our umbilical Cord of our Spirit. May we feed the Spirit as so it may Gain all the perfection needed to enter fully formed into the all Worlds of God.

Peace and Love to all Regards Tony
