The nine-pointed star is apparently OK, but please be sure NOT to get (or encourage) one of the Greatest Name (which includes the ringstone symbol)!
Such a tatoo would definitely be considered inappropriate and probably offensive.

Would a tattoo be considered modest and seemly?

Of course not!

I am curious though, would a five pointed star on each wrist, representing the Twin Manifestations of the Bab and Baha'u'llah be okay? I've been thinking about getting that done, as well as a nine pointed star somewhere on my body (leaning towards the right forearm).

Friend of mine has the greatest name tattooed on his body and all
I can say is he is one of the sweetest souls ever! Seriously he's a legend

Inappropriate or not, I wouldn't encourage anyone to get a tattoo but I would also not think to much into it if anyone does.

Would that Baha'is tattooed their minds and their hearts, rather than their bodies, with the symbols of his name. Just a thought.

Yes Eloy, we all have yo make our own choices.

I prefer the path fadl suggested, but in the end it is up to the individual. A choice that can be painful to reverse!

God bless and regards Tony
