Timeline of Bahá'í History

Warmest greetings,

Does anybody have a timeline of Bahá'í history that they could post? I am new to learning about the Faith and will soon begin reading some of the primary sources, but I would like to understand the context of it all first.

Timeline - Bahaikipedia, an encyclopedia about the Bahá

I would also recommend a book by John Esslemont, called "Baha'u'llah and the New Era"

You can get it as an ebook here: Bahá'u'lláh and the New Era by J. E. Esslemont - Free Ebook but you can purchase it from various booksellers if you prefer paper. It is an older book, but deals very well with the early history.

Nice to meet you King.

Baha'u'llah and the New Era is a great font of information about Baha'i history and beliefs.
Warm regards,
Becky

It's been pointed out that that timeline I linked to may not be entirely accurate. Treat all wikis with care.

This looks to be pretty comprehensive and accurate.

What I personally hope to see one day is a widget for a Baha’i timeline. Something called ‘This day in Baha’i history…’
