Did Donald Trump & American Politicians get this message?

This is from Baha'u'llah to every "Rulers of America and the
Presidents of the Republics therein"

Does the National Spiritual Assembly of the United States along with the Universal House of Justice ever send this to American Politicians? Ever? It seems everytime there's a new President or an Election of the major Politicians in America. They should get this Memo? At least every 2 years? If so is there any anecdotes or stories of the reactions from these Presidents who get this Memo? Why haven't they incited Donald Trump to make a tweet about what Baha'u'llah is telling him to do? Bind ye the broken with the hands of
justice, and crush the oppressor who flourisheth with
the rod of the commandments of your Lord, the
Ordainer, the All-Wise.

Who do you suppose is broken more than anyone?

It is difficult to imagine a more reprehensible perversion of human conduct that the sexual abuse of children, which finds its most debased form in incest. At a time in the fortunes of humanity when, in the words of the Guardian, "The perversion of human nature, the degradation of human conduct, the corruption and dissolution of human institutions, reveal themselves...in their worst and most revolting aspects, and when "the voice of human conscience is stilled", when "the sense of decency and shame is obscured," the Bahá'í institutions must be uncompromising and vigilant in their commitment to the protection of the children entrusted to their care, and must not allow either threats or appeals to expediency to divert them from their duty. A parent who is aware that the marriage partner is subjecting a child to such sexual abuse should not remain silent, but must take all necessary measures, with the assistance of the Spiritual Assembly or civil authorities if necessary, to bring about an immediate cessation of such grossly immoral behaviour, and to promote healing and therapy.

(The Universal House of Justice, 1993 Jan 24, Violence Against Women, Sexual Abuse)

Who do you suppose need a good crushing more than anyone?

"Hearken ye, O Rulers of America and the
Presidents of the Republics therein, unto that which
the Dove is warbling on the Branch of Eternity: "There
is none other God but Me, the Ever-Abiding, the
Forgiving, the All-Bountiful." Adorn ye the temple of
dominion with the ornament of justice and of the fear
of God, and its head with the crown of the
remembrance of your Lord, the Creator of the heavens.
Thus counselleth you He Who is the Dayspring of
Names, as bidden by Him Who is the All-Knowing,
the All-Wise. The Promised One hath appeared in this
glorified Station, whereat all beings, both seen and
unseen, have rejoiced. Take ye advantage of the Day of
God. Verily, to meet Him is better for you than all that
whereon the sun shineth, could ye but know it. O
concourse of rulers! Give ear unto that which hath been
raised from the Dayspring of Grandeur: "Verily, there
is none other God but Me, the Lord of Utterance, the
All-Knowing." Bind ye the broken with the hands of
justice, and crush the oppressor who flourisheth with
the rod of the commandments of your Lord, the
Ordainer, the All-Wise.

(Baha'u'llah, The Kitab-i-Aqdas, p. 52)"

Good morning dear friend

Whether Donald Trump himself, or his predecessors, or his staff of advisers have actually read this Tablet from Baha'u'llah, you would need to ask in different places. But of what value is the knowing of this information. In realistic terms, the National Office of the Baha'is of the United States would have taken whatever steps it considers, with and in wisdom and with the Guidance of God, in relation to Proclamation and other contacts at these highest levels of politics.

To get the best possible answer to your question, you are perhaps better directly asking the National Office of the United States.

In my own personal (that is, totally non-authoritative) opinion, it is the heart of a person which is of importance - their spiritual sagacity, humility and deeds. And however we, as individual Baha'is may feel about those who are the leaders of our society, we as individuals and as a community within the greater community are still bound by the direct decree of God of obedience to those in power, and to non-involvement in political affairs.

Ok, that last paragraph is like teaching grandma to suck eggs. (Romane grinning).

But what each of us must ask ourselves is not what others may be doing for the direction of the world (of whatever rank, position or otherwise), but what "I" am doing for the regeneration of the world. Now, that can be a mighty difficult place to find one's self, as there are times when the actions of our "leaders" contradict and offend our own sensibilities such that we feel the most strong urges to take direct action - every one of us can genuinely say: "bin there, done that"; and just occasionally that urge overwhelms the individual and they end up walking differently to the Straight Path; their motives are of the highest caliber and to be admired, but the action is wasted, for it diverts from the Complete Solution to attempting to band-aid a festering single wound.

Bear in mind that everything, and I mean everything, regardless appearance of negativity or positivity, serves the Cause of God in one way or another. Everything.

One other thing to bear in mind is the great future which lies ahead of America. The Writings promise this unequivocally. But if we read carefully that which Shoghi Effendi wrote, we find that America must first learn in the crucible, and America has not yet passed through this crucible, and at what stage regards this crucible America is currently in we, individually and as a community, are unable to state. And so, what we may perceive as negative may actually be positive - it is not ours, with our limited vision, to say, even if we must live through consequences which we may regard as either favourable or unfavourable.

So, what that really boils down to is that, whether Donald Trump has read the Tablet from Baha'u'llah or not, he is still acting for the future unity of the world, whether directly (positively) or indirectly (negatively). We don't have to like it, but we are bound in a position by the direct laws of God. We cannot know, but we do know that God has His Plan, and that the Baha'is have their Plan(s), and both converge for the same long-term purpose.

Ever?? Yes. This was sent after it was written to the US government of that time.

Since then?? I don't know.

Love crushes the oppressors and imparts justice in its wake. Many do not see how, as time with this cure is an important factor. A materialistic world has the desire to gratify its senses with immediate results.

I see a world is now learning what is a lasting Love, a lesson that will not be forgotten.

Regards Tony
