On Hearing the Voices of Angels
Concerning the voices of angels, one doesn't have to be a prophet to hear them. Personally, I've met one or two Bahá'ís, who have mentioned hearing the voices of angels, and kept a very low profile on that subject.
In early Christian tradition, there is the concept of angel-like song, the composers of hymns maintaining that they were merely trying to imitate the song of the angels of heaven, some even claiming that they had heard such songs in dreams, and one aspect of the tradition upholds the angelic transmission of sacred chant
The Cherubikon is a hymn that symbolically incorporates those present at the liturgy into the presence of the angels gathered around God's throne (the icon showed is that of Christ Enthroned):
We who mystically represent the Cherubim,
and who sing to the Life-Giving Trinity the thrice-holy hymn,
let us now lay aside all earthly cares
that we may receive the King of all,
escorted invisibly by the angelic orders.
Another hymn, the Trisagion, reputed to have been supernaturally revealed by a heavenly voice during the reign of Emperor Theodosius II in the early 5th century (The icon is that of the Trinity):

I too know one Baha'i who can hear angels (or Heaven as we call it). it is what I really reallly like to attain. those rare people who can hear, can always have the best counsels in whatever thing they want to do. I try to purify myself so that I can finally attain this ability.

I suspect there are far more people in the Baha'i Faith who have had mystical experiences who have chosen not to discuss them for personal reasons than would be ever known, but it's just a suspicion and I am happy to leave it at that.

Here are some quotes regarding interpretation of Angels in Baha'i Scriptures:
"when praiseworthy qualities and high morals emanate from man, he becometh a heavenly being, an angel of the Kingdom, a divine reality and a celestial effulgence."
"... if the divine and spiritual should triumph over the human and natural, he is, verily, an angel."
By “angel” is meant the power of the confirmation of God; that the candle of the power of the divine confirmation shines forth and is illumined in those souls.
By “angels” is meant those who, reinforced by the power of the spirit, have consumed, with the fire of the love of God, all human traits and limitations, and have clothed themselves with the attributes of the most exalted Beings and of the Cherubim.

if you know those few people who have heard angels, may I ask you to tell me more about how their lives have been changed since having that ability? one view is that those very pure people who are going to have great calamities in their futures will attain the ability of hearing heaven before the difficulties start. now has their lives been very difficult or different from other people's lives in some ways?
