Prayer Advice?

Iíve been trying to establish a prayer life that I feel called to. What I think Iím trying to do is have it be disciplined but not legalistic, be the focus on my life but not an exercise in pridefulness. Itís a tall order.
At minimum, we can say one short prayer, do 95 recitations, and read the Writings twice a day. What about expanding from that?
There's also the question of which prayers or how to pray. As Bahai's we have so many choices within our tradition as well as being able to draw from other traditions.
How do you pray?

Reading the writings and meditating on them, try and dig and find the hidden pearls hidden inside .. imagine what benefit they can bring you and others if you find them..

It's definitely true the Writings have many layers. I listened to the Tablet of Fire this morning.

I am doing well! I'm hoping to get more actuve with local Baha'i group.
I've been talking about posting more regularly here and starting a blog too. We need a stronger pro-Bahai presence on this form and in general online. Any ideas on what to post/blog about? I'm making my way thru the Writings.

In my 50 years as a believer, it has been noted that "quality" goes beyond quantity. In this is meant the sincerity of the believer, hence, ones own quality of devotion. Likewise, prayer and meditation go hand in hand. One affects the other, as both affect the life of the believer.

A great book printed in the U.K after recommendations by the Baha'i Review Panel of the U.K. is "The Divine Art of Meditation" by Farnaz Masumian.
