Fix your gaze upon unity

“O ye men of wisdom among nations! Shut your eyes to estrangement, then fix your gaze upon unity.”

- Bahá’u’lláh. “Tablets of Bahá’u’lláh Revealed after the Kitáb-i-Aqdas.”

If the fingers of our hand did not recognize their unity, we would be a mess.

This is humanity's problem, and why its a mess.

"Nothing short of the unity of the entire human race will suffice to heal the ills which afflict mankind."

We are "afflicted" with the disease of disunity. That is why we must transcend all lesser identities of race, nation, and past religious identities which hinder us from recognizing that we are all the fingers of one hand. It that hand is to serve the true interests of humanity, then the fingers need to work together.

Come on Christian fingers, Muslim thumbs, Jewish palms, Buddhist veins, and Hindu skin. We are all part of the same hand.

Ya Baha'ul'Abha!

:-)

"Come on all you glory boys

And hoist your banners high;

Pillars of the light are shining

On the Persian sky.

The people are awaiting

To hear the Authors' fame

Help us all proclaim the Greatest Name.

CHORUS:

Bahá'u'lláh! Bahá'u'lláh!

Help us all proclaim the Greatest Name.

Bahá'u'lláh! Bahá'u'lláh!

Help us all proclaim the Greatest Name.

Come on all you ladies

And let love adorn your face;

For now it has been written

That you take your rightful place.

A bird with only one wing

Surely will be lame

Help us all proclaim the Greatest Name

CHORUS

Come on all you children

Of the Kingdom, raise your voice

For God in all His mercy

Has given men a choice

And the Hearts of desert people

Surely will see rain

Help us all proclaim the Greatest Name

CHORUS

Come on all you people

Who are endowed with gentle souls;

You that inherit the earth

The way the story goes;

And I will be a traveler

Who gently fans the flame ... and

I'll help you all proclaim the Greatest Name.

CHORUS"

To all
I like this old poem also

Ring Out, Wild Bells

Ring out, wild bells, to the wild sky,
The flying cloud, the frosty light;
The year is dying in the night;
Ring out, wild bells, and let him die.

Ring out the old, ring in the new,
Ring, happy bells, across the snow:
The year is going, let him go;
Ring out the false, ring in the true.

Ring out the grief that saps the mind,
For those that here we see no more,
Ring out the feud of rich and poor,
Ring in redress to all mankind.

Ring out a slowly dying cause,
And ancient forms of party strife;
Ring in the nobler modes of life,
With sweeter manners, purer laws.

Ring out the want, the care the sin,
The faithless coldness of the times;
Ring out, ring out my mournful rhymes,
But ring the fuller minstrel in.

Ring out false pride in place and blood,
The civic slander and the spite;
Ring in the love of truth and right,
Ring in the common love of good.

Ring out old shapes of foul disease,
Ring out the narrowing lust of gold;
Ring out the thousand wars of old,
Ring in the thousand years of peace.

Ring in the valiant man and free,
The larger heart, the kindlier hand;
Ring out the darkness of the land,
Ring in the Christ that is to be.

ALFRED LORD TENNYSON

Truly Tennyson had a view of this wonderful day of God.
peace and love to all
