National Secular Society - Number of atheists around the world is rising

Note: As I understand, in our recent census, I think it was about 22.3% of Australians identified themselves as having 'no religion'.
This article above says that the percentage of Australians identifying as atheist is 10%.
Of course, citing 'no religion' isn't the same thing as being atheist. They may still have a concept of and belief in God.

When religion has become mostly superstition then why would an intelligent person accept it?
