I found it!

I found that elusive quotation that I was wanting to double check.

"It is an axiomatic fact that while you meditate you are speaking with your own spirit. In that state of mind you put certain questions to your spirit and the spirit answers: the light breaks forth and reality is revealed."

(Compilations, Baha'i Scriptures, p. 322)

Yes, it is as I recalled. Now, if only I really understood the link between body, mind, spirit and soul, I may...

I am still looking for that meditation quotation. I am sure I read something written by Abdul Bahá.
I recall it referred to being able to put a question to yourself when meditating. ...

Just t'inkin'

Well, I didn't have much to say for a while but now I do. Sometimes my mind is only full of questions about what is going on in my mind!

Don't you hate it when you cannot find the quotation that you really want. I recalled part of a great quotation on meditation, which is what I am thinking about at the moment, and can I find it? NO. I found a good one that I have pasted in below.

There are certainly gaps in my understanding that I am hoping to unlock this fast....

Decisions and consequences

Parenting a teenager can cause one to think a little more about free will. You can be constantly trying to judge how much freedom to give them, knowing full well that in not too long they will be totally responsible for themselves. They need to learn gradually.

And really, they are not a lot of help with that sort of decision, wanting total freedom one minute and then security and no responsibility the next. Maybe I exaggerate a little but parenting is full of hard decisions....

Paperwork and accounting

That time has come around again when a great pile of papers has formed on my desk and in my handbag and on one or two other surfaces in my home and it is my job to sort and dump or file and action some things.

It reminds me of how I should deal with things as they come up rather than putting them off.

It also reminds me of some more important things that I should be taking care of on a regular basis:
