Hello everyone,

I just watched a documentary on Netflix called Minimalism: A Documentary. It deals with the life and philosophy of a pair of men who gave up well-paying jobs and chaotic lifestyles to live a life with much less stuff. They started a blog and doing public speaking about the subject, and eventually became really popular with millions of followers. They're not overtly religious, but anyone who follows the teachings of a major Manifestation will probably find it lines up well with religious teachings.

I've actually been aware of these guys for quite some time. I first discovered them when I came across their YouTube video, "A rich life with less stuff." After that I was hooked, and started visiting their web site at and listening to their podcasts. The documentary is only available if you pay for it, but if you're interested, the YouTube video and web site should provide enough material to last you a long time. If you have Netflix (at least in the USA), by all means look up the documentary and give it a watch.

Of course, I have to finish this post off with a good Baha'i quote, so here one is:

"Detachment consists in refraining from letting our possessions possess us." -- Abdu'l-Baha
