Question Missed prayer during menstruation

Hello,
I am a fairly new believer of the Baha'i faith so please forgive me for what little I know so far. I would like to ask a question. I understand that in times of insecurity Baha'i's should recite a specific verse if they are unable to fulfill their obligatory prayer. However, what should be done if a person was unable to recite the verse "Glorified be God, the Lord of Splendour and Beauty" 95 times after performing the ablutions?

Thank you in advance.
May you have a blessed day.

I too am rather puzzled. This really is not a key issue, and it definitely shouldn't be too much of a concern.

About - Missed prayer during menstruation

"Exemption from obligatory prayer and fasting is granted to women who are menstruating; they should, instead, perform their ablutions and repeat 95 times a day between one noon and the next, the verse "Glorified be God, the Lord of Splendour and Beauty" -Bahá'u'lláh The Kitáb-i-Aqdas p. 175

"The Universal House of Justice has clarified that the provisions in the Kitáb-i-Aqdas granting exemptions from certain duties and responsibilities are, as the word indicates, exemptions and not prohibitions. Any believer is,therefore, free to avail himself or herself of an applicable exemption if he or she so wishes. However, the House of Justice counsels that, in deciding whether to do so or not, the believer should use wisdom and realize that Bahá'u'lláh has granted these exemptions for good reason." -The Kitáb-i-Aqdas, p. 175

Hi,

If one missed reciting the greatest name, there is no provision to make up for it and it is simply missed. As you may know, there is a prescription for what to do for missing the daily obligatory prayer, but even this applies only to missing the prayer under certain conditions when traveling and in a situation occurs when rendering the prayer is unsafe. If one simply missed the prayer for a different reason, then the prayer is simply missed and there is no provision for making it up. That would be true whether one lawfully missed the prayer, ie due to illness, menses, or to unlawfully missed it, ie laziness, forgetfulness, etc.

This is how I understand the Baha'i law regarding these matters, but I encourage you to do your own research into the Aqdas to confirm it for yourself.

Cheers
