How to attract Confirmations?

Lately I have been feeling quite lost in my life and I often ask God what is happening and how can I understand what I am going through now and what am I going to do in the future. I am doing my degree now and much of my time is spent studying and getting through courses. I have less contact with my community that is very small and I often find myself feeling quite lonely. I find everything to be difficult for me to understand that I am losing my self confidence and esteem. I hope this will be temporary but I am also wondering what I can do to be able to experience confirmations that I am on the right path.

Any advice or thoughts on this is much appreciated.

If you wait for confirmation, you can wait forever. But there are things that you can do - things that are 100 per cent right. For example: arrange a devotional now and then at your place, or be the host of a nineteen day feast, getting a good programme together and preparing some nice food.

Being lonely is part of life.

And don't expect too much from those confirmations. You can be sure of one thing - they never come in the shape that you expect. Maybe they are all over the place - you just didn't recognize them.

Best,

Thanks for the feedback and I agree with you that it is not about waiting for confirmations to happen but I also think that we can somehow have the intuition on whether we are on the right path in life. I am very reflective on the experiences and believe that everything happens for a reason. I am just not sure yet what is the reason for me to be in this situation now and whether I will be able to pass these tests.

Hi my advice is this. Fulfill all the commandments of the faith, such as all the obligatorys. Detach your heart from all else but him who is the object of devotion. You will feel the difference and the confirmations will come when you detach from all else but him .. But one must fulfill all the obligations 19 day feasts, daily prayers .. Including reciting verses morning and evening .. God will help you who else is there but him who can help you? God suffieceth all things

Great advice. You have my deepest respect.

I still wish to add another piece of advice: to act, to do things that you believe to be important, trying to mobilize the purest spirit possible.

Right now, I just sent a mail to a friend who wants my assistance to appeal a verdict to the Court of Appeal. I told him that I'm ready to do it, but on one condition: that he promises not to kill himself, whatever the outcome.

It's a terrible thing to deal with matters of life and death. Those questions concerning the custody of children touch the deepest roots of our souls. I'm amazed at the heartlessness with which so many professionals deal with these matters. I hope that my efforts will be beneficial to the Faith.

My children are my teachers. They have shown me the endless love and nobility of spirit that children are able to demonstrate.

My other source of inspiration is the in-depth study of our Writings that was required to translate them. Above all, I feel that I caught a glimpse of the spirit of Abdu'l-Bahá, when I worked with His Selected Writings and simultaneously read some biographies.

And, of course, it's essential to remain

just a

P.S. And the next day, I got my confirmation. My friend consented.
