Are gay people expected to be celibate in the Bahai faith?

Just wondering.

Yes, Baha'u'llah would want them to be celibate or marry someone of the opposite sex. I am married to a gay woman and we have one son. I really sympathize with those who are gay.

That is a matter between health authorities, the person themselves and God.

As for us we should be kind and understanding as we wish others to be with our features that need that kind understanding as well.
