Is the playing of a sport or game an art?

'Abdu'l-Baha has said that "acquisition of sciences and the perfection of arts are considered acts of worship".

Does the acquisition of prowess in games of a competitive nature fall under this heading?

Good question, for me I realised many of the sports I Persued had taints of 'self' so I left them to benefit my spiritual nature. This can be considered extreme and also I may be wrong but this is just what I had felt in my life.

But sports is not disallowed, neither is perfection in an art or sport.
