Prayers for our Friends and All

This Post is to offer Prayers.

I wish to start it by offering a prayer for friends that have been part of this Forum and we do not see as often, for reasons still unknown.

Two come to mind that we have not heard from for a while.

Blinky Bill and Maryamr.

Then to anybody that needs this prayer;

"O Thou kind Lord! Thou hast created all humanity from the same stock. Thou hast decreed that all shall belong to the same household. In Thy Holy Presence they are all Thy servants, and all mankind are sheltered beneath Thy Tabernacle; all have gathered together at Thy Table of Bounty; all are illumined through the light of Thy Providence.

O God! Thou art kind to all, Thou hast provided for all, dost shelter all, conferrest life upon all. Thou hast endowed each and all with talents and faculties, and all are submerged in the Ocean of Thy Mercy.

O Thou kind Lord! Unite all. Let the religions agree and make the nations one, so that they may see each other as one family and the whole earth as one home. May they all live together in perfect harmony.

O God! Raise aloft the banner of the oneness of mankind.

O God! Establish the Most Great Peace.

Cement Thou, O God, the hearts together.

O Thou kind Father, God! Gladden our hearts through the fragrance of Thy love. Brighten our eyes through the Light of Thy Guidance. Delight our ears with the melody of Thy Word, and shelter us all in the Stronghold of Thy Providence.

Thou art the Mighty and Powerful, Thou art the Forgiving and Thou art the One Who overlooketh the shortcomings of all mankind." (Abdu’l-Bahá)

Ya Baha'ul'abha

Regards Tony

Allaho Abha dear Tony

I am thankful beyond words can say;thank you SO MUCH for including me in your prayers.

in fact, many times I tried to come here and read the posts and contribute. But all Baha'i websites here are (and have always been) blocked, so I need a proxy to enter. In the past I had a good, fast proxy, but the proxy itself got filtered and stopped working, so I had been unable to check the forum, and to study from Baha'i Library. Now, finally, I found another proxy, not so fast, but at least I can come here. I found the forum at a time when I really needed to have Bahai friends, and the members of the forum, to me, are like very near friends, as if I knew you all for many years.

Thank you again for having thought about me. I also wonder about how Bill is. I hope he is fine.
My prayers for you and everyone else here.

I am so happy you have replied.

I wish you always well, happy and safe.

There is a new Baha'i Movie out called 'A Widening Embrace'. It is wonderful Maryamr and it is wonderful because of the oppression and injustice that many face. When they try to put out the light, it shines brighter in all other places.

Thank you and I do hope you can somehow see the movie.

Watch or download here;

A Widening Embrace

Happy Ridvan for the Last 12 Days.

Always thinking of you and all there. Regards Tony

Duane, may I offer another thought.

The Future of Iran is most glorious. We pray daily that those that control the fate of Iran come to understand the destiny that will be that of the birthplace of Gods Messenger for this day, that the 'Glory of God' did bless this area with His Birth and His life of Service prior to banishment.

In saying that, what a bounty to live in this day, in that part of the world. Armed with this knowledge and strength of Faith, nothing can take that bounty away.

We are with you Iran, a song for all;

May you stay well and happy.

Regards Tony

I love that prayer. I said it every day my brother was overseas serving in the first Gulf war.

Allah'uabha Becky great to hear from you. I hope you had a good Ridvan.

I also love that prayer and each day see more in it that I had previously considered.

The Unity called for must unfold first within our own selves.

I hope you are well. Regards Tony
