self forgiveness

Any prayers or stories to do with forgiving yourself from the mistakes you've made or moving on from mistakes.
I'm regretting something bad I did and its leading me into a spiral of depression and anxiety during my exam period.

Now on to the question of how you can overcome your guilt even when you are forgiven, firstly you must mentally make a shift of a pure being as your slate is clean. 'Noble have I created thee' .. You are created pure, and as soon as you are forgiven you have a fresh start. from there if one wants happiness he must turn towards the light, this is more to do with turning towards the counsels of Bahá'u'lláh. True happiness is not promised in being forgiven, but turning wholly towards Bahá'u'lláh. 'There is no peace for thee save by renouncing thyself and turning unto Me'
