What are all the known Manifestations of God? And hints of Unknown Manifestations?

From what I remember The Bahais categorically recognize these founders of Religions as "Manifestations of God":

Baha'u'llah

and the Bab

Muhammad

Jesus

Buddha

Moses

Abraham

Zoroaster

and some others? Which ones else did I fail to list?

So basically there is the "official" and "unofficial".

Your list is missing Krishna, but apart from that you have the full "official" list of "Manifestations" (although if we count lesser prophets Confucius and the other prophets of the Quran and Bible are added in).

Then there's the "unofficial", since the Baha'i Faith (as well as Islam) recognizes that there are Manifestations that have existed that our Prophets have not explicitly mentioned in writing, specifically through the principle of "to every nation a messenger".

Because we don't have an authoritative writing explicitly stating that certain persons are or are not prophets, they aren't "officially" counted as Manifestations, though individual Baha'is may count other persons as Manifestations in their own estimation.

For example there's a Lakota woman on the USA's NSA who holds that the White Buffalo Calf Woman was the Manifestation to the Lakota people, or I myself believe the founder of Taoism, Laozi, was a Manifestation of God.

Nobody has mentioned Guru Nanek. I assume this means he was not a Manifestation of God.

Yes, I have never seen Guru Nanak mentioned.

But there are so many similarities between the Bahai principles and Sikhism !

*There is only one God

*Everyone has direct access to God
( no clergy)
*Everyone is equal before God
( gender equality)
*A good life is lived as part of a community, by living honestly and caring for others ( everyone must engage in an occupation)

*Empty religious rituals and superstitions have no value
.. .
There are others similarities; a focus on service and charity ...

My 2cents worth,
T

Sikh people are some of the most disciplined athletic fearless people I've ever met. This Mexican Sikh guy was bad ass: That was a joke. Here's real Sikh people
