So... I created this website because I thought it would be novel. In addition, I was intrigued by the seeming absence of this type of site, considering all the prayer oriented sites out there. prayerbead.org haha.. Please provide your thoughts / feedback. Thanks! :wink |

Hello, Hippsta, I had a look at your site. I like your tree. I enjoyed reading the translations of the Islamic bead count - very informative. Personally, to pray, I would turn off the computer and close my eyes. I count 95 using my fingers. But, I think it is good to have a diversity of ways to pray available as we are all different. I thought your site could be enhanced be including some other prayers, possible in the form of tickertape/power point type presentation, a phrase at a time, or entire prayers with an attractive border and in a beautiful font. Good luck with the site. |

Thank you for the feedback Pollwr, it is much appreciated! ![]() To be quite honest, I personally would not pray this way either unless I had forgotten my real beads at home and was visiting relatives or something. haha :tongue But I read somewhere that some people are saying their rosaries with their iPods, and by watching YouTube videos (whatever that entails,) which seemed really odd to me. (at least the videos) Also, I am filled with glee at the notion of people of every religion (possibly) clicking on the same (even if indirectly) beads to offer their prayers, etc. to God. Within the next day or so I'll hopefully be adding the rosary and mala prayers, to accommodate the Christians, Catholics and Buddhists respectively. ![]() I'm loosely tracking the numbers, (well google analytics is.) Greetings, That is a really neat site! I do have a set of Baha'i prayer beads, but have not used them in a while. This has inspired me to get them out and use them again. i don't recall where I got them, but they are made of jade and very nicely done. The idea of putting beads from other faiths is a great idea. Most spiritual traditions have some sort of prayer beads for contemplative prayer. Blessings, David |

I'd love to check your site out too because I'm in the market for some new prayer beads but I can't seem to access it for some reason. I don't know if it's my machine settings or whether something's happened to the link. I'm not very knowledgeable in these things...:huh |

Allah'u'abha! Yes, unfortunately I let the registration expire on the domain. It was not a prayerbead sales related site however, it was a "virtual" clickable prayerbead mainly to bring awareness to the similarities between religious faiths and their prayer methods. I will try to find the scripts and put them up somewhere for you. |
