How often the beloved Master was heard to say. Should each one of the friends take upon himself to carry out, in all its integrity and implications, only one of the teachings of the Faith, with devotion, detachment, constancy and perseverance and exemplify it in all his deeds and pursuits of life, the world would become another world and the face of the earth would mirror forth the splendours of the Abha Paradise. Consider what marvellous changes would be effected if the beloved of the Merciful conducted themselves, both in their individual and collective capacities, in accordance with the counsels and exhortations which have streamed from the Pen of Glory.

-- Shoghi Effendi, LL_1.1
I would add here that we (Baha'is) know that if a Christian, Budhist etc were to do the same, what a glorious world it would be. A Baha'i who lives the life is a Christian, A Christian who lives a good Christian life is a Baha'i and so on.
Anyone attacking another over belief or Faith immediately is showing the world that they in fact have no Faith no belief, because it is against all the teachings of God.
Love and best wishes to all.

May I ask, why has Shamshir changed his first post in this thread into Arabic writing?

He wrote:

أشهد أن لا إله إلاَّ الله و أشهد أن محمداً رسول الله

I find that slightly...hmm...odd.

The Arabic writing which Shamshir has edited his first post into reads as the Islamic Shahada (or "creed") when translated into English:

"I bear witness that there is no god but Allah and I bear witness that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah"

Given that Shamshir has alerted us to the fact that he now feels the Baha'i Faith "is not right for him", and given that he has now left the forum, I am suspicious of his original intent in the first place.

Hmm...

I dont interpret it in that way.I feel that he may have discussed his feelings with another moslem who convinced him that what he was doing was wrong,if not sinful. My gut tells me his enquiries were genuine because they resembled the queries of a young person.I feel that once he has begun to ask questions he may come back again

I suppose his posting in Arabic is a bit strange considering we are English language forum. If he was trying to commit mischief and disruption he didnt succeed mind.I hope he finds peace.I wouldnt tolerate extremism be it Baha'i,moslem, christian, catholic, protestant and I have shown this on other posts

Its an Islamic term, it refers to the material world, the earth and all its temporal concerns. Its often paired in the Qur'an with 'akhira', the hereafter.
