Nick Vujicic is as he is in real life, that is not a film trick. This is so touching, it reminds me of many Baha'i ideas. "The more difficult the struggle, the more glorious the triumph." Oh how can we get people to believe this in this day of carpe diem mentalities? The answer is this movie, 20 minutes long. |

Therefore, man must be the seeker after the Reality, and he will find that Reality in each of the Sanctified Souls. He must be fascinated and enraptured, and attracted to the divine bounty; he must be like the butterfly who is the lover of the light from whatever lamp it may shine, and like the nightingale who is the lover of the rose in whatever garden it may grow. ~ Abdu'l-Baha, Some Answered Questions, p. 77 |

The greater the struggle, the more glorious the victory. In this life we are all in a cocoon waiting to become butterflies in the next life.

There is an interesting story that I heard when first in therapy. A person found a butterfly struggling to get out of its cocoon, so he helped the poor thing out, and it sat there, so he left. What he did not know was that the butterfly died where he left it, sadly deformed, never flying. The man had deprived the butterfly of the process it needed to force strength into its limbs and redistribute fluid. How we help others is very important. Are we crippling them or helping? | |
