Any activity done with sincere effort= worship!

Love this idea:

"...The man who makes a piece of notepaper to the best of his ability, conscientiously, concentrating all his forces on perfecting it, is giving praise to God. Briefly, all effort and exertion put forth by man from the fullness of his heart is worship, if it is prompted by the highest motives and the will to do service to humanity..."

~ ‘Abdu’l-Bahá

Anymore quotations to that effect?

Sincerity

Sincerity is a state of being which while important can also be naive. It was once pointed out to me that by believing sincerely the tylenol they are about to take does not contain cyanide, one will not be prevented from dying. However sincerity of effort and search are the prerequisite for spiritual development. In the TABLET OF AHMAD there is a spiritual progression which is 1. the sincere 2. the believers 3. the severed and 4. the lover. It is obvious that the highest state of faith is to love, not be loved. To serve not be served, though one must also accept love and be able to live with the grace of humility.
