According to the calendar I was born on the day of Glory, in the month of Núr, at the beginning of the first Kul-i-shay and like yourself during the Baha'i Holy Year of 1992. And I agree - its a beautiful calendar!

When my son was born thirty some years ago he was born in the month of "Sharaf" (Honor) so he carries that name as his middle name.. He's very proud to this day to be named after a Bhaa'i month... There's a site where you can have the current Baha'i day and month easily available to you on a face page.. Baha'i Calendar - Baha'i Events and Holy Days Today is Justice, 17th of Questions, 168 Badí Idál, 17th of Masá’il, 168 Badí یوم العدال، ۱۷ شهر المسائل، ۱۶۸ بدیع چهارشنبه، ۷ دی، ۱۳۹۰ Wednesday, 28th of December, 2011 The other important feature of the Baha'i Calendar is that it is a solar calendar and could be a perrenial calendar each year.. all we have to do is add a day for Ayyam-i-Ha every leap year. Also it is easy for pre-school children to remember that each month always has nineteen days and each year nineteen months. Nurturing the tender years: Learning about the Baha’i calendar |
