Hi all. I have been Baha'i for almost 3 years now. 20 years old and have a mad love for this beautiful faith. I was wondering if anyone has had anyone close to them declare or take true interest because of your actions? I myself have been blessed to share the faith with three people and that eventually ended up with them declaring. My sister who is almost 16, my best friend who is 21 ( came from a catholic background) and my sisters good friend who is now (16). I think it is such a blessing on my part as well as theirs. I truly believe that God gave me my passion and strength so I could share it with others, and I'm so thankful for that. Now in NO WAY SHAPE OR FORM did I cause these beautiful souls to recognize God and Baha'ullah. I simply gave them a match, Baha'ullah and God ignite and keep their fires burning ...so with that said, anyone have any cool stories that are similar?? |

Years ago when I married my wife ..Her brother had been abusing drugs and drifting around the country.. He came across a copy of The Hidden Words and later left his drug abuse behind him and declared.. He finished at UCLA and is working on his doctorate.. He now has a Baha'i family of his own and recently went on pilgrimage. We have no idea how much affect we have by simply "living the life" and that is the most powerful teacher.. The example of the friends is so essential to educate others.. and contrariwise.. when we turn away from the Faith and it's principles this also has negative affects.. Thou art He Who changeth through His bidding abasement into glory, and weakness into strength, and powerlessness into might, and fear into calm, and doubt into certainty . . . Thou art, verily, the Almighty, the Most Powerful. ~ Baha'u'llah: Prayers and Meditations, pages 249-250 |

I have a friend that Pioneered to Czechoslovakia. People he was gifted to share the Faith with have become members of the National Spiritual Assembly of that Country - It is amazing how it works This is the Best Story I have. but I can not tell you if the Person became a Baha'i. I Picked up a Hitchhiker in FNQ Australia who was from Germany (from memory) and started telling him about the Faith. After a while he asked how many Baha'is were in the area (at that time and now there was/is only a handful of Baha'is in the area). Apparently I was the third person that day who had picked him up and started talking about the Faith I found out he had been picked up by a devoted Baha'i in Kuranda (Near Cairns) and was dropped off at Mareeba. Hitchhiking out of Mareeba he was picked up by a good friend of mine, also a dedicated Baha'i and got another dose of the Faith and was dropped off at Atherton. from Atherton He made it to Malanda on the way out to Ravenshoe and this is where I had Picked him up on my way out to Normanton We have always laughed about this and still wonder if this coincident lead to the person accepting the Faith???? He has no excuses not too Regards Tony | |
