Being a Baha'i to me means, That I'm one of many souls created by something which cannot be conventionalized. That all souls, regardless of what they believe, are all equal and headed in the same direction. That the Creator has given us guidance at different times through history. Even though some see them as different Faiths. They are not. They are an ever continuing thread of guidance that becomes more detailed as humanity matures as a whole. That if I say I am a Baha'i, what I mean is I'm a soul who believes that the guidance issued by Baha'u'llah was from our Creator, through Baha'u'llah. That this guidance is the current guidance from our Creator. That past guidance was given to us, through; Muhammad, Jesus, Moses, Abraham and other known and unknown men. Men who accepted the gift as well as ordeal of being our Creator's instrument of teaching. That I need to work very hard at loving all of Creation. By over coming my learned bigotries, my conceit, my selfishness, my lack of experience, lack of training. Michaelaw Last edited by MichaelAW; 01-02-2012 at 05:03 AM. Reason: spelling |

Yes, community!, that which sometimes can be a difficult thing to create, let alone bring together. I have a guess that a huge part of the afterlife is the possibility of being connected as a single entity of sorts with all souls being capable of being in communication/awareness with each other. That is a question that can have many answers ![]() At the moment, it means a struggle to be of some service to, or teaching of the Faith At other times and in reality it means a lot, lot more Regards Tony |

Here is my reflection on being a Baha'i: to help perfect all things, to make some contribution to humanity that helps lead to world peace and unity.
