A friend recently introduced me to Zionism on the Internet. For those unfamiliar with the term a Zoinist believes that a secret order of Jews is in control of the important functions of world powers both government and economic. I found myself being utterly fascinated with the subject and unable to find much flaw in it, at least at first. The topic started when my friend pointed me to a financial site that spoke heavily on how Jews control wall street and the media. Further it is thought that Jews regularly influence those organizations in an effort to advance their own agendas. That sight pointed me to theories on the crashes on 9-11 in New York. The sites made compelling arguments for their theory that Mossad (Israeli intelligence) was behind the attacks with the intention of dragging the US into the wars in middle east. There were other arguements and theories, but I have no compelling reason to ellaborate. I was finally able to locate a Jewish anti-Defimation League response which addressed the theories specificly. The response was written in 2004 and as far as I can tell had no recent updates. Apparently the theories continue to spread, but the Jewish League has responded to them some time ago. I might suggest they could do more to combat these theories. I'm a fairly smart fellow. I have been in technology as long as Bill Gates has, just about. These sights were well designed and were not easily identified as net junk. So when I tell you I had a hard time sniffing out the BS I hope you will believe me. The information is fairly convencing but extremely depressing. Just two days of reading had me just about ready to purchase home protection and food stock. This is the second time I have encountered a large online presence of hate mongers and trueth twisters while exploring the net. The first encounter was a few years ago and was in regards to anti Bahai or alternative Bahai views. I caution you that for now it's best that people avoid researching or exploring these ideas on the net. There is a very large online presence that is ready willing and eager to spread their lies and hate to others. As Bahai's we must strive to educate, but some people are not ready to listen so avoidance is best. There is hope for the future despite many signs that are both real and contrived to the contrary. Even if in whole or part certain systems of governments and comerce departments are fixed, infiltrated, corupted or otherwise, as Bahai's we dont care. If we focus our energies on changing the minds of others to not place over importance on material matters then the old ways die despite the rigged nature of world affairs. Keep your chins up, look to the future and dont dwell on the negative aspects of life. I need to remember this statement more often. |

Conspiracy Theories The world is full of them I do not even look at these sites. This first council in the Hidden Words of Baha'u'llah says it all.. 1. O SON OF SPIRIT! My first counsel is this: Possess a pure, kindly and radiant heart, that thine may be a sovereignty ancient, imperishable and everlasting. If any person/writing shows any direction other than this, then do not pursue it Regards Tony |

My comment: My dear Prodaytrader, you may be under a misapprehension my friend about your definition of "Zionism". Zionism (Hebrew: ציונות, Tsiyonut) is a Jewish political movement that, in its broadest sense, has supported the self-determination of the Jewish people in a sovereign Jewish national homeland.[1] Zionism - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Maybe you have heard of what's was called "The Protocols of the Elders of Zion" The Protocols of the Elders of Zion - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia This book promoted the conspiratorial belief about "...a secret order of Jews is in control of the important functions of world powers". The very point of my discussion is to inform readers that the theories are vailed. It is not so easy any more to identify conspiracy theory and fact especially on the web. When a financial website directs its readers to stay away from gold purchases or other such instruments this has little to do with Zionism, 9-11 attacks and the like on it's face but at the root that is what's happening. My point is that these things are interwoven and they are hidden in plain sight. The bottom line is that there are people who believe that for one reason or another the Jewish Mafia as they call them are intent to control the powers that be. So use caution and be aware least you stumble across these people yourself.

hahaha.. This reminds me of a documentary well known in the middle east called "the arrivals"... for any educated individuals that knows how to practice critical thinking, he would, without a doubt find this documentary degrading to the human intellect. Unfortunately, a lot of people takes whatever information in that documentary as face-value.
