A few days ago, somebody changed the translation of آله الطيبين الطاهرين (meaning His family, the pure and purified - reference to the Ahlul Bayt (Rasulullah saww family) in Google Translate to “PornStars too” in English/Malaysian/Indonesian (these are the only languages that I understand). We circulated the news around, so Google changed it to “His good and sacred family!”

However now, Google still translates: الطيبين الطاهرين as Pornstars Too! Please see attached the image I took from Google as of today.
Could you please rate OFFENSIVE to the translation on Google Translate? If not, Google will forever translates it as “His PornStars too” if you directly translate the Search Results from Arabic to any language (as per image Google Translate from Arabic)

How to rate it:
1. Go to Google Translate.
2. Copy: الطيبين الطاهرين
3. Paste in the first box that set up as ARABIC.
4. Set up the second box as English or other languages you know
5. Click Translate.
6. Click on ✓ on the below of second box
7. Choose “! Offensive”.

Please rate is as “! Offensive” in all languages you know and spread this news…. I can’t to this on my own.

This is apparently not spam. I did as she asked after checking Google for Assalamualaikum which translates other places as peace be upon you. However cuppy, your post is NOT clear. I did as you asked by going to the site and doing that. That is offensive.

Do you not care about Muhammad's beloved family being insulted?!?!?!? I thought Baha'is respected Ahlul Bait and believed in the 12 imams!!!!

The "forward to everyone" method may be spamish, but because of the way Google translate works, getting multiple negative evaluations may be the best way of getting this changed in the short term. However it also makes a nice game for the people who are doing this. They can simply choose another term, for an Islamic or Bahai or Christian sanctity, and tell google translate it means "dirty lavatory" or something like that. There is no end of possible terms to be corrupted. So this needs systematic work by the google translate team, to block the offenders, and to protect the attacked terms from any change to their proper translations.

I have reported the translation as offensive. It is not difficult.

You are quite correct, yes we do, and I too object to the distorted translation!

But any time you add "forward to everyone" to a message, you have a clear problem concerning spam generation, which is why you need to find a better way to publicize this.
