This is apparently not spam. I did as she asked after checking Google for Assalamualaikum which translates other places as peace be upon you. However cuppy, your post is NOT clear. I did as you asked by going to the site and doing that. That is offensive.

However it also makes a nice game for the people who are doing this. They can simply choose another term, for an Islamic or Bahai or Christian sanctity, and tell google translate it means "dirty lavatory" or something like that. There is no end of possible terms to be corrupted. So this needs systematic work by the google translate team, to block the offenders, and to protect the attacked terms from any change to their proper translations. I have reported the translation as offensive. It is not difficult. |
