It's strange because there is no mention of freemasonry on the page ![]() When I was awarded my Eagle Scout medal, I was invited to the grand Freemason lodge in Atlanta to get another recognition medal. It's a very imposing, windowless building. Thick concrete. But when we went in, everyone was exceptionally, for lack of a better word, "normal." They seemed to take delight in showing us around their "secret" lodge, and explaining pretty much everything we asked of them. They seem to be utterly amused by their sinister accusations. During the speech he gave to us and other members, he asked rhetorically "What's the secret? Heck, I'm master mason of the state and I've never encountered any of these secrets." Honestly, the only thing they are is a fraternity for gentleman. There are some religious aspects, etc, etc- but I can no longer sympathize with conspiracy theories. I've been there- they're just normal guys. Not that I'm calling you out- I don't know why I got on that tangent |
