Hi guys, I've been wanting to make this topic for a while, when I was still just lurking the forums. It is not a discussion necessarily on love, but rather a place for us to love one another! I love you, and I say we should repeat this sentence to each other numerous times in this thread! It could be general, or specifically to another person. It could be a detailed compliment and confession of admiration, or a post filled with hearts! Of course, you can put some quotes in here as well. Whatever you wish to do for love. I hope I have found the right part of the forum to put this. I love you, my dear friends, my family. |

A wonderful thread idea, though I'm not much for mushy words Dare I say it: From the mystery of your heart, love all.

Itena thanks for starting your thread... I hope that ye may, day by day, add to your love, steadfastness, purity of intention and service to the Cause of God. ~ Abdu'l-Baha, Tablets of Abdu'l-Baha v1, p. v May we manifest our love through service to humanity! |

I have not posted here in a while, but finally have come beck to check in. I saw this thread, and could not resist. Yes, I fully agree; so here I say that I love you and all created beings. ------------------ O SON OF LOVE! Thou art but one step away from the glorious heights above and from the celestial tree of love. Take thou one pace and with the next advance into the immortal realm and enter the pavilion of eternity. Give ear then to that which hath been revealed by the pen of glory. |

I got two of my favorites for you. "Indeed the believers have not yet fully learned to draw on each other's love for strength and consolation in time of need. The Cause of God is endowed with tremendous powers, and the reason the believers do not gain more from it is because they have not learned to draw fully on these mighty forces of love and strength and harmony generated by the Faith." (From a letter written on behalf of Shoghi Effendi to an individual believer, May 8, 1942: Living the Life, p.8) (Compilations, Lights of Guidance, p. 93) This one starts out talking about Baha'i Marriage...but it changes just a tad. When, therefore, the people of Baha undertake to marry, the union must be a true relationship, a spiritual coming together as well as a physical one, so that throughout every phase of life, and in all the worlds of God, their union will endure; for this real oneness is a gleaming out of the love of God. In the same way, when any souls grow to be true believers, they will attain a spiritual relationship with one another, and show forth a tenderness which is not of this world. They will, all of them, become elated from a draught of divine love, and that union of theirs, that connection, will also abide forever. Souls, that is, who will consign their own selves to oblivion, strip from themselves the defects of humankind, and unchain themselves from human bondage, will beyond any doubt be illumined with the heavenly splendours of oneness, and will all attain unto real union in the world that dieth not. (Abdu'l-Baha, Selections from the Writings of Abdu'l-Baha, p. 117) |
