bahai scholars?

In the bahai faith are there any scholars? If so are there any commentaries? If not then does that mean we have to interpret the revelation ourselves? If it is that way then it seems that we could easily fall astray. I look foward to hearing a reply.

Thank you

There are many Baha'i scholars but they do not have the station of the Ulama in Islam.. You will not see a Baha'i School of Theology or Baha'i "theologians".

The interpretations of the Writings of Baha'u'llah have already been provided by His oldest Son Abdul-Baha and great grandson Shoghi Effendi no one else has authority to interpret.. so the Faith is united and doesn't have different "schools" or "traditions".

Okay, thanks this is excellent. I had a misconception that one just had to interpret it of their own mind. I found this to be a weak way to live ones life because we all may interpret a text differently. I am glad to hear this. Thanks a lot
