Please watch this truly frightening video from Iran : Iran (Farsi with English subtitles).

First the end of the Mayan calendar, now this!

An oppressive government regime, manipulating it's population through the use of religious propaganda that paints it's own "leaders" as figures instrumental in the outcome of the final conflict between good and evil. Sounds like par for the course. If anything I find it sad, that the Iranian government goes to such lengths to control it's populace. The unfortunate thing is that the good people of Iran have been brainwashed for so long they honestly know no better...

I cannot wait to see the egg on the face of those leaders when this does not happen as they propose. It may become the end of Iran as we have known it. I suspect many Iranians are straining for change.To confidently set up prophecy like this is really, really chancy!

Is the Iranian Government Corrupt/Crazy enough to "stage" or create some kind of event rather than risk losing credibility to its populace?

I think the site "Truth seeker" where this is found is unreliable and pretty much a right wing dingbat group.

and most of their sources are hadiths, or as they say it on the video "many believe"
