Duh! I should explain the book is about THE SEVEN VALLEYS AND THE FOUR VALLEYS. I have just edited this by adding this first sentence.

Here is a couple of sentences on page 115: "Finally, the cruelty of the beloved, who tyrannizes the lover...may also allude to the concept that God has concealed Reality behind the veils of multiplicity and ephemerality, and therefore also has 'cruelly' assigned to human beings a conditon whereby the seeker feels remote from the Object ofhis quest, and thus feels pain."

Anyone relate to this??? I say to find Him you must find yourself.
