Death and dying

Dear friends,
. I just learned of the tragic death a few hours ago of a very close friend of my daughter Mona in New York. She was with him when he somehow got caught in an elevator between floors

. She was giving him CPR while others were tearing up the floor, trying to extract him.

. He had been giving her guitar lessons lately. I'm sure this is also opening wounds of her sister Farah's death six years ago.

. Prayers for Erin and his family, and for Mona would be most appreciated from you all at this difficult time. His family is in Israel, but probably on a plane by now. This happened around noon New York time.

. Thank you
. Allah'u'Abha
. Dale

Thank you so much. I didn't realize, but he was her roommate. Its on the New York Daily News, interviewin her and others.

The elevator had constant complaints, but it was also overloaded, with 14 in a capacity of 10. He was trying to get out. And thank God that she was out at the time.

Very sad and tragic way to go. You just never know when your number will be called.

Dale - Very tragic way to pass on, may all come to terms with this.

Prayers said for all this morning on the Future Temple site of the Solomon Islands. Always remember all on this Forum at these times.

"O my God! O Thou forgiver of sins, bestower of gifts, dispeller of afflictions!

Verily, I beseech thee to forgive the sins of such as have abandoned the physical garment and have ascended to the spiritual world.

O my Lord! Purify them from trespasses, dispel their sorrows, and change their darkness into light. Cause them to enter the garden of happiness, cleanse them with the most pure water, and grant them to behold Thy splendors on the loftiest mount".
ĎAbduíl-BahŠ

God bless all and Regards Tony

Dale,

A tragic and untimely loss for all concerned.

I am reminded of a track from Eric Clapton entitled Tears in Heaven. This was composed in memory of his son who passed in New York too.

With regards to prayer the only thing I can think of at this time is music and dance. I trust this new track from Christian Parrish aka Supaman entitled "Why" will suffice as the contemporary jingle dance performed by Acosia Red Elk is exceptional. In his own words "Sometimes the Creator allows us to go through things in life where we ask the question "why". Why do bad things happen to good people and so on. Some things will always remain a mystery to us until the next life. So let us focus on how we will respond to these things and what we intend to do now that it has happened, in PRAYER, IN LOVE, IN PEACE AND HOPE!"

Thank you

Allah'u'Abha

I just wanted to say thanks to all of you for the prayers for Eran Modan, my daughter's friend

She went to JFK Airport a few hours ago with friends and family who met there, saying prayers together, as his body was sent back home to Israel
