I am Ajay and am interested in researching the bahai religion.
My interests include spirituality, philosophy, psychology and literature.
I believe that the quality of a person corresponds to the quality of his mind, and feel that psychology and its applications can be constructively used to raise the consciousness of the individual and thereby the society as well, getting rid of disharmony, conflict and wars in the process.
I believe that spirituality is more or less psychology of the mind, and every religion in a sense deals with psychology as such in a sense.
From what I have read of the religion, I feel that the bahais are a peaceful religion which promotes the unity of all religions,international and inter-religious brotherhood, which is what the world needs most at the moment.
Hence I am a well-wisher of yours who hopes you guys will go from strength to strength, and get rid the world of its present religious wars.
Deep regards to all.

Welcome to the forum!
What you post is very much in line with Baha'i thought. Consciousness is central to the paradigm of religion and the evolution of human consciousness is propelled by the progressive Revelations of the Prophets from the dawn of time.
"Bahá’u’lláh has not brought into existence a new religion to stand beside the present multiplicity of sectarian organizations. Rather has He recast the whole conception of religion as the principal force impelling the development of consciousness."

These two writings from the "Hidden Words" lead us on a path to discovery;
"O SON OF SPIRIT! My first counsel is this: Possess a pure, kindly and radiant heart, that thine may be a sovereignty ancient, imperishable and everlasting".
"O SON OF SPIRIT! The best beloved of all things in My sight is Justice; turn not away therefrom if thou desirest 4 Me, and neglect it not that I may confide in thee. By its aid thou shalt see with thine own eyes and not through the eyes of others, and shalt know of thine own knowledge and not through the knowledge of thy neighbor. Ponder this in thy heart; how it behooveth thee to be. Verily justice is My gift to thee and the sign of My loving-kindness. Set it then before thine eyes".
Look forward to a chat or two, Regards Tony
