Hello, I just joined here. I decided to join the Bahai religion, so no I'm not yet a Bahai. What do i need to do to become a Bahai? I'm living in one of the countries where Bahais are mistreated, so evryone is lying about their religion; which is what I'll have to do till I'm legally an adult. I don't know any Bahais where I live. There are no Bahais temples where Ilive, so I'm not sure what to do. I could use some help. |

The procedure for declaring yourself as a Bahá’í differs from country to country. It may be that no formal mechanism exists yet in your nation, but without further details I cannot say. In its essence, however, your faith depends solely on your acceptance of Bahá’u’lláh, and your obedience to His Laws and Institutions. If there are no Institutions formed in your country yet, then your allegiance would be directly to the Universal House of Justice. You may always write to them for counsel: secretariat@bwc.org. And welcome to this New Day!! ![]() John |
