Hey, all! I'm a pretty new Baha'i. I became Baha'i after many years of study, hemming and hawing, and searching for meaning and spiritual truth. I actually became a Baha'i during Ridvan this year. My name is Adrian. I'm a caseworker for a state psychiatric hospital here in good ole Texas. I am glad to be here and look forward to getting to know you all. Allah'u'abha! |

Adrian, welcome to the Forum and Allah'u'Abha! I've also been in casework services in the past at a hospital.. in a psychiatric unit. So great to have you a board! - Art :wink |

Allah-u-Abha, Adrian, and welcome to the neighborhood! :-) It's wonderful to have you here with us, and I look forward to seeing you here and elsewhere on the Net! BTW, if you'd like to check out another excellent Baha'i forum, I heartily recommend the Planet Baha'i discussion area, which has a great mix of Baha'is and others (and a very positive tone)! You can find it at: Planet Baha'i Many regards, and I'll see you around! Bruce Limber |

For a number of months, I shared my apartment in NM with another Baha'i named Adrian, who had Hispanic and indigenous Mexican roots. He was a film scriptwriter as well as a musicologist who specialized in Tejano music. Unfortunately, he allowed his health to deteriorate and left this plane a few years ago. He was deeply devoted to the Faith.
