Texas Baha'i

Hey, all. I'm Adrian. I declared in April of 2010. However, with a lack of spiritual community, I did not follow through with the faith (A failing on my part...I know). However, I have recently re-declared and re-enrolled and am looking forward to being here and dialoguing with all of you. Allah'u'abha!

Allah'u'abha! Just remember that with Faith we always have a lot to learn from each other. A Baha'i of many years may have a deep knowledge of the Faith, but there is always a lot else to learn as well.

So we will also look forward to sharing your knowledge of life & Faith.

What material have you read to date Adrian?

Regards Tony

To date, I have read the Kitab-i-Aqdas, the Kitab-i-Iqan, The Seven Valleys, the Hidden Words, Baha'u'llah and the New Era, various talks of Abdu'l-Baha...I do study daily.

That is a good variety of Books - When I fist became a Baha'i in the Early 80s the first thing we were told to do was study the Covenant of Baha'ullah and the will and Testament of Abdul'baha - I also think these are important to study as well.

They are available on the net

The Covenant of Bahá'u'lláh

Bahá'í Reference Library - The Will And Testament of ‘Abdu’l-Bahá

Regards Tony
