Hello!

I recentlydeclared in the Baha'i Faith and I was just looking to join a great social community site. My name is Thomas and I live in Beaumont, TX which is about 1.5 hours NE of Houston, TX. I am 21 and a former follower of the Catholic system. I always felt that there was so much more to God, spirtuality, and life than what I was being told in church. I came across a Wikipedia article about the Baha'i Faith, and have since been reading and learning as much as I could about the Baha'i faith. That is all for now, I just wanted to say hello to everyone.

Welcome Thomas!,

I was born a Baha'i and am now 29 years old. I just have to say that if I know one thing it is this: that the more deeply you go into the inner mysteries, the more wonderment you will experience.

Do you know any Baha'is in Beaumont?

Jafar

Hi Thomas,
I'm a Baha'i living in Bangkok (for the last 12 years). I must say I agree with Jafar, who happens to be an old pal of mine, the learning never stops. One of the most exciting things is getting new incites from others.

It's too bad you live so far from Houston I have a really good Thai Baha'i friend that moved to Houston and he wants to get to know the community better.
