The awsome power of the Covenant

Reading the following passage from Selection from the Writings of Abdul'baha, really hit home how powerful the Covenant of Baha'u'llah is.

"it will be seen that all the forces of the universe" - That is big

Selections From the Writings of ‘Abdu’l-Bahá

192: Today, the Lord of Hosts is the defender of the …

"Today, the Lord of Hosts is the defender of the Covenant, the forces of the Kingdom protect it, heavenly souls tender their services, and heavenly angels promulgate and spread it broadcast. If it is considered with insight, it will be seen that all the forces of the universe, in the last analysis serve the Covenant. In the future it shall be made evident and manifest. In view of this fact, what can these weak and feeble souls achieve? Hardy plants that are destitute of roots and are deprived of the outpourings of the cloud of mercy will not last. What then may be expected from feeble weeds?… "

You can have great confidence that the FAITH WILL BE PROTECTED

The other statement I like is this... "In the future it shall be made evident and manifest"

Why - There is a lot of things in this Faith that are written that we can not grasp at this early time in the Faith - Some people see these things as mistakes and a test to their Faith. I like it as you have to have Faith for what you can not understand, this Faith should be based on a study of ALL THE SCRIPTURES AND NOT Just ON individual passages.

That is such a powerful quotation. Fantastic!

It reminded me of this quotation, too:

"Love is the greatest law in this vast universe of God!

Love is the one law which causeth and controlleth order among the existing atoms!

Love is the universal magnetic power between the planets and stars shining in the lofty firmament!"

(Abdu'l-Baha, Tablets of Abdu'l-Baha v3, p. 525)

I don't know if this is an analogy for the massive power of love, or literal but I hope it is literal.

This is actually quite prevalent amongst many mystics, I like it a lot also

Love is also put in the powerful writing shown below, which I hope has a literal meaning too - all the sci fi people would have a field day with this one... I added bold and text size to make it stand out.

Selections From the Writings of ‘Abdu’l-Bahá

166: O servant of Bahá! Be self-sacrificing in the path of God, and wing thy flight unto the heavens of the love of the Abhá Beauty, for any movement animated by love moveth from the periphery to the centre, from space to the 198 Day-Star of the universe. Perchance thou deemest this to be difficult, but I tell thee that such cannot be the case, for when the motivating and guiding power is the divine force of magnetism it is possible, by its aid, to traverse time and space easily and swiftly. Glory be upon the people of Bahá.
