Free Speech - Rules and Consequences!

World Situation – Free Speech – Religious Salvation Is Needed

What is the real war of today? Is it politics? Is it public media? Is it persons of radical religious persuasion? Is it the censorship of thought?

The answer is non of these! These wars are of those who have embraced the frustrations of secular life and spiritual poverty. The world needs to be refocused to address the purpose of religion in public life. I thinks the world, its politics, its media, and its governments have turned away from the Teachings of God and that the practitioners of the Word of God have been silenced by the philosophy of politically correct speech.

Where has the concept of politically correct free speech led us? Have the voices of morality been silenced? The legal protections of immoral speech are destroying the foundation of society. For speech to be free, any speech should be open to ridicule and debate.

There are people and their legal organizations who would classify free speech as protected and unprotected. In the protected category is all manner of insult and promotion of desires that are contrary to the Teachings of God. This includes anything that promotes unclean and vicious acts, and the voices that wish to silence and banish any talk of morality. Under the free speech protections sponsored by these paralegal organizations, it is not proper or acceptable to voice an opposition to these protected and unholy topics on moral grounds. The doctrine of Separation of Church and State has become a farce. Any talk of morality in government is treated as government acceptance of and promotion of religion – which has been declared taboo. It is okay to attack the bad character of any politician, but to promote the moral and righteous character of a person is taboo.

At the other extreme are those governments that are ruled by a radical theocracy. The thrust of these governments is often to destroy and bring into submission anything that is contrary to the governing theocracy. Their outcry against Western Civilizations is fueled by the unholy images, language, and public broadcasts describing a debased spiritual culture.

It is no wonder that wars exist when social moralities are ignored! The spiritual blindness that exists on both sides provides the fuel of hatred that is keeping alive our conflicts. It is up the people with voices of reason and understanding, taught by the Word of God, to assist in healing this institutionalized blindness. Only then will these wars come to an end.

In His Service,
Steven J. Hathaway

The philosophy of the left is not liberal, it is radical and oppressive. Freedom is lawful, not lawless. The difference between a wild animal and a civilized human being is the rule of law, originally revealed by the Manifestation of God. The Law of Marriage is the first rule of law. Human families and tribes were thousands of years old when the first nations began evolving. The families and tribes created the state in order to protect their citizens from lawlessness and oppression.

And the rule of law and the states created to establish and defend the rule of law, are intended to serve the people, not control or oppress them in order to secure the advantage on one group of people over any another. There is only one class of people, and they're all precious. No one lords over anyone else.

Whenever our states place themselves above the law, they lose their legitimacy and the civilization begins to decline. Unfortunately, we do seem to be in one of those end times.

The most great news is that the World Order of Baha'u'llah is here now. It is growing and thriving and influencing the evolution of human nature and civilization. All these civilizations are clashing because they are coming together. The human race is coming together. Unite all the people of every nation, race and religion into one universal and divine civilization.

I haven't seen much of you lately ..What's been a happening for you?

Earthling:

Somehow I think the tension between left and right has been going on a long time.. Can we encourage a reconciliation or just stir it up more?

There is no they. Only we, the people of earth. Human civilization is whatever we make it.

I believe that Baha'u'llah is the Source of the Rule of Law for today. There is no alternative. And the coming of the Most Great Peace is inevitable, unstoppable.

Peace be with you
