Congratulations, and enjoy! :-)

(Be sure when you get there to get a map of the surrounding area: there's a series of paths from Panorama Road <where many of the hotels are> down to the level of the Shrine of the Bab that you can use to get there evenings when the main gates are closed.)

Best,

Bruce

A small folding map should be part of the pilgrim welcome packet you receive on the first day; it was in my packet when I went in December 2007. That map showed the areas around the Shrine and the Terraces, including the stairs from the top of the mountain (the map also covers 'Akka, Bahji, and the main streets of Haifa). Also, Google Maps shows a lot of the stairs in Haifa, although they missed at least one stairs that I used.

And congratulations on your pilgrimage, Tony!
