Inspired by the thread on Abdu'l-Baha and Buddhism, I thought that I would lay out my on perspective on this vexed issue of the Buddha's original teachings. I have taken an interest recently in the history of early Buddhism, after closely analysing the Digha Nikaya and Khuddaka Nikaya. The...

These are some words Buddha has said about God, it think it applies a great deal to the God of the Baha'i Faith, as well as Islam and Judaism, even to some degree to Christianity. This is another Buddhist view of God: Since Buddha is considered a Manifestation of God in the Baha'i Faith, I...

    The Buddha and Divine Personfied

From wikipedia: In some Mahayana traditions, the Buddha is indeed worshiped as a virtual divinity who is possessed of supernatural qualities and powers. Buddha as Manifestation of God

Dear Friends, the Bahá'í teachings state that Buddha Gautama is--amongst others--a Manifestation of God. To me this is comprehensible if you only take a look at formal aspects (bringer of a new religion / renewer of "Vedic Religions" pp.) and on the ethical consequences of his teachings...
