Ask a Gnat

And now at last:

Sometimes, law books are created in one big decision, like the Code Napoléon, but usually they are established in increments, one law at the time. That is the case with the Gnat Code. It is formulated on the basis of experience gathered. Now is the time to motivate and formulate some rules for the Gnat Code.

As you might have understood, the Gnat Code is firmly founded on preposterous propositions and untenable tenets. The inscrutable reason behind this now will be revealed. The Gnat, in His immense wisdom, having meditated on the state of the world, realized that the world’s problems are caused by one single problem – a lack of something absolutely essential.

Wise men and women have spent lifetimes trying to figure out what this could be. They have proposed that there could be a lack of truth. The Gnat does not agree: there are truths of all kinds, big and small, nice and nasty. That is not the problem.

Others have maintained that the big problem is a lack of love. The Gnat does not agree with them either: there is love of all kinds in the world, love of others and self-love, love of people and love of things. There is no lack of love.

The big problem is visible to everyone, yet it is only revealed to the very few, select. Now listen to what the Gnat, in His incarnation as the Overgnat tells you:

Thus spoke the Gnat: “you must be ready to burn yourself in your own flame; how could you rise anew and join the chat if you have not first become ashes? I teach you the Overgnat. The Overgnat has the greatest power of all: he can turn the sullen Last Gnats in the streets into smiling Overgnats."

That is the secret of Overgnat: he can put smiles on people’s faces. Angry, unhappy, miserable, grey Last Gnats turn into heavenly Overgnats.
When using the Chat, first ask yourselves “Will my words make people smile and laugh?” And then ask yourselves “What kind of smile and laughter will my words provoke?

Best,

Dear Gnat - As I sit upon the Mountain in Honiara Solomon Islands upon a Rock at the Future temple site, how do a deal with the occasional Gnat that just wants to suck my blood and take of mine what is not His?

No matter how hard and loud I yell Yabaha'u'labha, it does not seem to lessen their resolve.

As you are named after their species I though your offer to ask a Gnat may be beneficial!

Now have I come to the master of this knowledge?

God bless Gnats anyway :cool::yes:

Oh Gnat

I seek in your wisdom for the answer in your laws to the self-identity which plagues the ability of one to "burn yourself in your own flame". This same self-identity which has difficulty in releasing itself to these ashes to arise, pheonix-like as a newborn being.

How, in short, can one imbibe that essential when we were such young new-born larvae and learning to spell our words, that there is no 'i' in 'you'?

I await with eager anticipation the sting of the Gnat

Thus spoke the Gnat: “you must be ready to burn yourself in your own flame; how could you rise anew and join the chat if you have not first become ashes?

Moths gathered in a fluttering throng one night
To learn the truth about the candle's light,
And they decided one of them should go
To gather news of the elusive glow.
One flew till in the distance he discerned
A palace window where a candle burned -
And went to nearer; back again he flew
To tell the others what he thought he knew.
The mentor of the moths dismissed his claim,
Remarking: `He knows nothing of the flame'.
A moth more eager than the one before
Set out and passed beyond the palace door.
He hovered in the aura of the fire,
A trembling blur of timorous desire,
Then headed back to say how far he'd been,
And how much he had undergone and seen.
The mentor said: `You do not bear the signs
Of one who's fathomed how the candle shines'.
Another moth flew out -- his dizzy flight
Turned to an ardent wooing of the light;
He dipped and soared, and in his frenzied trance
Both Self and fire were mingled by his dance -
The flame engulfed his wing-tips, body, head;
His being glowed a fierce translucent red;
And when the mentor saw that sudden blaze,
The moth's form lost within the glowing rays,
He said: `He knows, he knows the truth we seek,
That hidden truth of which we cannot speak'.
To go beyond all knowledge is to find
That comprehension which eludes the mind,
And you can never gain the longed-for goal
Until you first outsoar both flesh and soul;
But should one part remain, a single hair
Will drag you back and plunge you in despair -
No creature's Self can be admitted here,
Where all identity must disappear.

His clever rhymes
Are so fantastically
